Skin Rejuvenation is a non-ablative process using low energy LPL to rejuvenate the epidermis.
It can be used to treat the following conditions:
Pigmentation caused by sun damage
Mottled or Hyper Pigmenation, Age Spots and Sun Spots
Freckles
Superficial Melasma (from contraceptive pill)
Photo-Ageing - used to improve the skin's texture and reduce pore size
How many treatments are needed for best results?
On average 1-3 treatments at 4 week intervals are needed for best results. Top up treatments may be needed in the future to maintain these results.
For optimum collagen stimulation with skin rejuvenation 6 treatments would be recommended.
Acne Treatment Clients use adapalene onthe area for 3 weeks prior to 1st treatment that will reduce hyper keratinisation and allow the treatment to be more effective.
Thread Vein, Sun Spot and Pigmentation Treatment Skin types 1 and 2 will see the best results. The treatment will give the most dramatic results with obvious thread veins and the results vary from client to client. Top up treatments may be required.
Smaller vessels and diffuse redness may see some return over time, this could be hereditary. If the client continues exposure of the same conditions that caused the thread veins, they may reappear.
Ellipse treatment is highly effective on pigmented lesions and sun spots on the face by increasing collagen to the area.
Ellipse treatment is also highly effective on Vascular Lesions, Spider Naevi and the treatment of thread veins and birthmarks on the face.
